Why won't it start?! OK I just downloaded the new version of Limewire, but when I click on the icon, nothing happens. I don't know if this is a Java problem, but I downloaded Java too anyway. On the Limewire readme it said I had to put the JRE in the path or something but I have no idea how to do that. I don't know why it's not working. I had Limewire before on the same computer and it worked fine. I'm using Lycoris, by the way, if that matters. |
Hmm.. How should anybody help you if you do not even tell us what does not work... |
.... Nothing works. I click on the buttom that says "Limewire", I get a little bouncy icon next to the cursor, but then nothing happens. It just goes away. It won't even start up. |
Open up a console shell and type the following: limewire It should print some error information. Please cut and paste the results in this forum. The new version of limewire is suppose to automatically detect java so you should not need to set the Java path. |
Me Too I also try to start the program and nothing happens... I open a command promt in the limewire directory, type limewire, and nothing... no errors.... any other ideas? |
Ah... got it Update Windows Java Found this in another Forum... your (as was my) Java installation is out of wack... |
