Default No multiple users with 1.7

Greetings.

The LimeWire FAQ indicates that the software works for multiple users. I installed LimeWire 1.7 as root, and now whenever I run it as a different user, it runs through the initial setup (selecting directories, etc.). Obviously it is failing to save the configuration file. My previous solution to the problem (chmod 775 /usr/local/LimeWire) worked with version 1.6 but does not work this time.

Has anyone discovered a workaround for this?

Regards,
Psy
