Can't seam to set path for Java properly I've tried the instructions in other posts on how to set the path to Java in the bash_profile file. However I still get a message about needing to install a Java VM. Can someone spell out exactly what needs to be done from the start - where to put the limewirelinux file. How the Java Runtime environment (JRE) relates to the JKD file that most people seem to put in the path line. Its probably apparent that I'm new to this, so a detailed explanation would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch, hipbadger |
For the path: create or edit a file called /etc/profile.local Put lines in there: PATH=$PATH:/usr/java/is_this_the_path_to_java/bin export $PATH This should be all Cheers |
