Unhappy For the love of god...

I have read most, if not all, of the Java/ClassPath problems posted by people, but
none are similar to my - or maybe they are, I don't know. I am not very experienced with Linux
but I do like it better than Winds..

Here's where I get stuck:

Preparing to install...
Unknown flag: -Xmx50331648
Unknown flag: -Xms16777216
Invocation of this Java Application has caused an InvocationTargetException.
This application will now exit. (LAX)

Stack Trace:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/apple/mrj/MRJOSType
at com.zerog.lax.LAX.launch([DashoPro-V1.2-120198]:line unknown, pc 0x81de728)
at com.zerog.lax.LAX.main([DashoPro-V1.2-120198]:line unknown, pc 0x816823a)

Does anyone know what am I doing wrong???

It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong. It seems that you are one of the lucky many to receive random Java error messages. You might try re-installing both LimeWire and JRE, but that only fixes a few problems.

Smile Kaffe

I think your problem is Kaffe. It seems everyone has Kaffe installed lately. :-) Kaffe is an open source version of Java that implements (mostly) Java 1.1, which is an older version of Java. You didn't post your system details so I'll assume you're on an rpm based system. Open a terminal and type:

rpm -q kaffe

That'll check your rpm database for kaffe. If it's installed and if you don't really, really want it. Remove it by becoming the root user and typing:

rpm -e kaffe

I'll assume you have a 1.3.1 version of Java installed and correctly added to your PATH variable.
