Uninstall from ubuntu.

How can i uninstall limewire from my ubuntu 5.04?
I tried to but i couldn't... Now synaptic doesn't work anymore and it sohws me this message:

that should be something like:
"Tle package limewire-free must be installed again, but i can't find an archive for it. Internal error opening cache."
Any help?
