Unrecognized JVM specific option

I'm a Linux newbie so bear with me. I tried sh LimeWireLinux.bin like they said to do but every time it says preparinmg to install right after it comes:
Unrecognized JVM specific option '-Xmx50331648'
Unrecognized JVM specific option '-Xms16777216'
and then it goes into more detail how JVM has had an unexpected error and the Stack Trace and things. I have jre 1.3.1 installed can anybody help?
