compile from source / limewire.org down?

Hello, I'm trying to compile LimeWire from source, and make .debs for me and a buddy, as well as gain source-compiling experience. This is my first stab at compiling from source, and I was reading the guide from limewire.org, but it seems limewire.org is down now. Is there any other guides out there, or a mirror of the original guide somewhere? I am past these parts;
- ...core/> ant
and
- ...gui/> ant

What comes after I ant (java compile I presume) these directories? I would like to make .debs for me and a buddy of mine.

Thanks in advance :D

AFAIK you only have to compile GUI now. To start LW, simply go in terminal into the GUI directory then do the "sh run" command.

LW.org is currently down, the server has had many problems in the last months... expect it to be up next week.

but how do I make the .debs? I have a guide here: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/html_singl...uilding-HOWTO/ ... do I just follow that?

I don't know... I heard there was a special program named Alien that can convert .rpm into .deb ... http://www.kitenet.net/programs/alien/ Since LW.com has .rpm packages, you could just convert... http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...oadfree2.shtml
I'm no expert here, so good luck..

I know how to do it, but for the sake of learning, I want to learn how to do it the manual way.
