![]() I recently quit the Limewire application and it closed just as it should, with no sign of problems. Now I'm trying to reopen it just an hour later, and it's giving me prompts as though I were installing it again (making me choose the language, where to put it on the hard drive, etc.). I can only assume that if I do this I'm going to lose the 500 or so downloads I had in progress when I closed the application? Is there some way for me to get around this problem, or at the very least is my list of downloads in progress saved somewhere on my computer? I first tried to start from the icon on the dock. Then I tried starting it directly from the applications folder but got the same response. I've also done a search of my hardrive for 'limewire' and 'history/downloads/etc.' and haven't found anything useful yet. thanks! |

![]() It could be the program you're trying to start. If you're starting the installer, it would try to install. The downloaded files are saved in the folder you specified when you first installed LimeWire, so unless you overwrite that folder, you shouldn't lose it. |
