 ./runLime.sh: 44: Syntax error: "(" unexpected (expecting "}") I installed Limewire on Linux (Ubuntu) twice. each time it installs properly by I get this error whenever I try to run it. ./runLime.sh: 44: Syntax error: "(" unexpected (expecting "}") Any Ideas???   |

| sh problem While installing Limewire, I just encountered this problem. You can just edit the small script and change the offending "sh" to "bash". Perhaps also of interest: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=126773 |

| Yes, it works ! Just simply edit the limewire file by typing sudo gedit /usr/bin/limewire and then change one time the word "sh" in "bash" like this : #!/bin/bash cd /usr/lib/LimeWire bash runLime.sh Save and re-launch limewire. It works ! :-) |
