![]() arpad I noticed (a few months ago) that *sometimes* LW would jump CPU cyles to >90% under Mandriva 2006 Official. This led to the fans kicking in, and other such anomalous and irritating behaviour. I never did find a cause and fix, but the workaround was to either close the session or just restart the machine, which made me wonder if this was a virtual memory swap problem. Sorry I can't help further: I'm not using the linux box any more. |
