Can't find JAVA code Hi - I just bought the new version of LimeWire for Linux. I went to install it the .bin file and of course it told me I need a Java VM, so I went to Sun's site and downloaded the latest Java stuff and installed it. But when I go to run the install again, it keeps telling me the same stuff. Here is the file I installed from Sun: jre-1.3.1_02.i386.rpm Which is the link I got from this site. Help Please! |
You need to add Java into your path. Check one of the hundreds of posts about this topic that will tell you how to do it. (It's not that hard) |
I just typed up a small howto for mandrakeuser.org Email me at roger<at>linuxfreemail.com for it as it may take Tom about a month to add it to mandrakeuser.org (depending on how busy he is). |
