preferences never saved

Every time i start Limewire I get the configuration window (where i select the drive to share, etc) and none of the preferences I set are ever saved. Why is this? I'm using Red Hat 7.2 with KDE 2.2.

check the permissions of your LimeWire folder and the files in it.
