Unhappy Fatal Application Error

I installed fine, but ge the following in runtime:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/swing/JDialog
at
at RunLime.showInternalError(RunLime.java:179)
at RunLime.main(RunLime.java:80)
at com.zerog.lax.LAX.launch(Unknown Source)
at com.zerog.lax.LAX.main(Unknown Source)

I am a debian based system known as LibraNEt 1.9. Has anyone seen this and know a fix?

This seems to be a problem with your Java installation; the class that is not found should be in the jdk/jre libs.

A fix that should work:
a) check that you are using java 1.3 or above
b) find the path to a file called "rt.jar" , usually located in /path/to/your/Java/Install/jre/lib/rt.jar
c) edit the start script: append the full pathname of rt.jar to the CLASSPATH variable that is set there.

I have same problem. I cannot find any solutions yet, no one seems to know, I think it's the LInux OS, I have SUSE 8.0.

If you are using Suse 8.0, the first thing you have to do is delete the old java 1.1.8. and install the new version jr2, which should be on the disk if you have it. Limewire always uses the old java no matter if you have the newer one. Suse install the old one by default. So just delete the old one and you should have problems.
