searching and connection
 

I'm a new user for Lime Wire. I just downloaded the lastest verison for OS X. When I want to search for something, the search button doesn't show up. What does this mean?

Then the bar above the back, forward, stop, refresh, home, etc. anyways the bar says this- LimeWire: Running the Gnutella Network (Disconnected). What does that mean(disconnected)?
