2.4.2 Connection works, searches don't
 

Hi all,

Once I upgraded to 2.4 on MacOS X 10.1.4, my searches stopped working. Everything (even the most obvious search queries) return no results. Here's a summary of my situation:

<li>Limewire 2.4.2 on MacOS 10.1.4
<li>Connection to Gnutella servers works fine (over telnet, too)
<li>Living in apartment w/ cable modem; my roommate's Limewire (2.4, MacOS 10.1.4) works just fine. We're behind the same router. Our network configs & Limewire prefs are set up the same.
</ul>
Any ideas? MANY thanks in advance.

disconnect - reconnect - retry. No idea, you can't really change any options so no results would be returned (well maybe except for blocking many, many hosts ...)

Thanks for the reply... Actually, what's weird about the situation is that the previous version of LimeWire worked just fine on my MacOS X box. The instant I upgraded to 2.4 is the instant I started experiencing searching problems.
