limewire pro 2.4.4 quick research

the ability to research using the apple key held down and clicking on the tab seems to dissapear after about 2 hours, im using OS x.1.1
and im realy dissapointed with the fact that i have a non OS X icon in my dock...trivial but it makes it look shabby.
