Angry Lost the window in osx

I lost the window in osx 10.1.4, all updates current. I'm going to try and reinstall from scratch.

This happened to me and after much headaches I happened to notice a very very thin line in the upper left hand corner of my monitor. After clicking on it and stretching it out, I realized that the window had shrunk to a miniscule line. This got me my window back and has worked fine since. Not sure if this is your problem, bu search your desktop thoroughly.

It's probably a corrupt preference file. IIRC, the preference file will be in your user folder/Library/Preferences/ folder. I can't recall the exact name (I'm on a pee cee right now) but I believe it has Limewire and possibly ".plist" in the name.

Quit Limewire, delete the pref file and then start Limewire again.

Reinstalling won't delete this preference file, and if it's corrupt you'll be right back where you started when you first launch LW.

Hope this helps....

jstern, thanks for the info. I had this exact same problem and was able to fix it with your advice. Would have NEVER seen that microscopic line, and STILL don't know how you did. Thanks again.
