OSX Help, will not connect with a DSL and OSX!!
 

LimeWire works very well at my college, but it will NOT ever connect at home, both are on brand new iMacs but Duke is a T3 or greater but my house is a DSL. Can someone please tell me what the problem is and how to fix it!??

running a g4 867 with 640mb of ram and a 256 dsl - do you have a similar arrangement? are you running lime wire at standard hours? do you have your preferences set up for smaller users - with what sounds like a similar system i am multi tasking the living crap out of all my programs and running limewire with 20 downloads a time. sounds like a preference / hardware problem. answer the questions and i will try to see what makes your connection so poor or completely lacking.
