files with directory paths "could not move to library" I've been trying to download several files that appeared in the search window with (what I'm assuming are) directory paths - for example, music/songs/title.mp3. When I try to download these files, I get a full progress bar and the status message "could not move to library." What's up? |
Forgot to mention - I'm running 2.5.3 (on OS X, obviously). |
That's an old bug. The LimeWire developers are obviously too lazy to fix it. |
Hello! Thats because the core of OS X is Unix and Unix does not like slashes/ in file names.I am not to sure that the LW developers can fix that. |
They can replace it with another character. Dunno about Java, but PHP has a slew of prepackaged solutions to this problem. |
Could not move to library Great, thanks for the info on why, now how do I get the music/mp3 file to move to the library once that message has arisen? Gabe |
