Can't get LimeWire to quit

Not only am I having problems downloading songs from Limewire, I can't quit the damn program. Every time I try to quit, the screen just goes to the lower right corner, next to the trash can.

Can anyone help me in trying to quit this program?

Unfortunately, I can't offer a solution because I am having the same exact problem! I am using MacOSX 10.1.5. I always end up having to force quit. And now, it is starting to quit unexpectedly on its own!

I'm facing the same problems. I am running OSX 10.1.5. I'm having to force quit Limewire + it seems to crash (quit) on it self quite often. Great if somebody out there can offer a solution.

Go to Preferences (under Limewire curtain), click "shutdown" then mark option "shut down immediately".
