Default Telnet on Macs OSX

I am running OS X on my ibook, and I am having problems connecting to Limewire. I want to use Terminal to see if my ISP is blocked: I tried entering "telnet router4.limewire.com.6346" under Commands, but it called it an "unknown host." Does anyone know how to check this using macs and what to do if it doesn't say Gnutella OK? thanks!
