Default Where did my files go?

I know all about how my files go into the "shared" folder in Limewire's library tab. I even know that I can find these files in my Finder under "music," but my problem is this: When I open this "shared" folder from my Finder, not all of my music files are there. As a matter of fact, only the first few downloads are chilling there. What is up with this? Where did my more recent downloads go? I don't think I changed anything like this. Since I can access these files from Limewire, I know I have them saved somewhere. Is there a way to copy my files from Limewire and paste them into another file?

I would appreciate any help in this matter.

Do a search in Sherlock (command F) for 'shared' . You'll probably turn up more than one folder. I suggest you move all your files into one and delete the other.

Limewire has two options relating to this:

Tools>Options>Saving is where your downloaded files are saved. Go to this option, click Browse and select your shared folder.

Tools>Options>Sharing is the location of the folder(s) that appear in the library window and that are shared. Make sure one of these locations is your shared folder or it won't show up in Limewire. If the location of your old/deleted shared folder appears here ,remove it.

i have lost files, but in general they can be found using the find. it is often the case when upgrading that two shared folders are formed, thus i agree with the above help
