i just set up limewire on my computer and i think i told iit i had a macintosh os but i think i have mac osx. and evertime i try to download something it makes no progress, is that because i told it the wrong os?? someone help me before i smash my computer!!!

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this, but if Limewire works at all, then you've installed the correct version for your computer.

If you see a green light in the bottom left-hand corner of the LW window (next to where it says 'sharing x files') then Limewire is connected and running correctly.

If a file won't download or stops downloading it is due to network issues and has nothing to do with limitations of Limewire. It means that the host you're trying to download from doesn't have any upload slots left or has gone offline.
