Help me. I get no responsed for my requests, even for simple thing like the smiths and the beatles. what could be wrong? The green light is on. I appear to be connected.

Try restarting your internet service provider (AOL, Explorer, etc.) alon with Limewire, then make sure that at the top of limewire it says "connected." If your request still doesn't work try re-installing limewire (preferably the updated version).

You might be connected to a bunch of freeloaders. Try removing some of the connections you currently have & see if there are better ones available.
