Default LimeWire 2.6.5 a step back from 2.6.3?

LimeWire 2.6.5 on Mac OS X 10.2.1.

With LimeWire 2.6.5, I am finding that search results are skimpier, uploads barely make any progress at all, and connections to other Gnutella hosts seem to be less active and more prone to closing, as compared to 2.6.3.

With LimeWire 2.6.3, I never had this degree of trouble getting more complete results for the same searches, I was always able to upload at 100kB/s (or more), and connections to Gnutella hosts showed much more I/O activity and rarely closed spontaneously.

Question 2.6.5 No Gnutella Connections

Also running Limewire 2.6.5 on Mac OS X.2.1

I can't even get connections to other Gnutella clients after downloading the 2.6.5 update. All of a sudden I've been completely cut off from the Gnutella networks, because the client doesn't seem capable of establishing stable links. I've tried limiting my connections to 1, and still no response.

Any ideas?
