I'm using Limewire pro 2.6.5 -- everytime I start limewire all my shared files get refreshed, you can watch this at the bottom left of the display. I have over a 1000 files being shared, and usually it does this pretty fast like say 10 secs. BUT at least every third or fourth time limewire is started up, It does it very slooooowly. instead of 10 seconds I'm talking 4 hours! and I have not changed anything in these folders. while its going through this process its almost impossible to do anything else, it slows everything down badly! In fact Limewire is just kinda slow anyway. I didn't realize how bad it was until I used my sisters (windows) computer. and got to use Kazaa, that is a good program. too bad Its not available for macs. Limewire you better get better fast, because if you don't and Kazaa comes to the mac, you'll be forgotten fast
