Default saving playlists for use in iTunes

I was wondering if any of you knew how to save Limewire playlists. I made my playlist, then when i click save, it won't let me save it under any folder. I really need to make a new CD but i can't unless I can just save a playlist! please help!

The Limewire Media Player's playlist function has a bug--when you go to save it, it asks you to highlight a file name and save rather than input a file name of your own. At least, that's what happened when I tried it. You probably saved a playlist under a filename for something else, like a txt file or application, that you would rather have kept.

In anycase, Limewire doesn't burn CDs. Use iTunes Add to Library feature to scan for new songs and add them to your library, or set iTunes as your default mp3 player (as I do)--then everytime you play a song you get from Limewire it is automagically added to your iTunes Library. You can then create playlists in iTunes that you can save and burn directly.

A situation where the touch command would be useful, since it creates a blank file if it isn't already there. Or you could just make a blank file in TexEdit beforehand.

Both are good workarounds until Limewire fixes the problem. I sent them a bug report--should be an easy fix for the next version.

Default How to make Itunes the default

I hear and read that I need to make itunes my default player. I read that under the tools menu there will be an options selection. My version which I just downloaded which should be 2.7 only says "statistics" under the tools menu.

In the menu bar click "Limewire", drop down to Preferences, and click off the Limewire media player under Player.
