Post What App to use for LimeWire in Mac OSX?

I just d/l'd the ".sh" LimeWire app for Mac OS X and ran the terminal window to install it. Apparently, things went as expected. It installed where I told it to and there are numerous files in the folder. However... each of them has a blank icon, indicating that they are not associated with any application that the system knows of. Indeed, when I double-click on the file "LimeWire," the system gives me a message telling me that it doesn't have any application to run the file. My options are to click "OK," or to locate an appropriate application. What is the appropriate application? I understand that this is a Java-based app, but is there some way to "link it" to a java resource in order to make it do its stuff? If so, does anyone know how to do so?

Thanks in advance for any feedback. BTW, it runs fine in Mac OS9.1... I'm just trying to get ahead of the curve and migrate as many of my apps as possible over to OSX ASAP...

Thumbs up

I have been able to get it to launch just by dragging the limewire file into the terminal window, and then hitting return in the terminal. It launches fine, but seems to crash rather easily.

Hope that helps
