it already is metal. but the forthcoming version has some really awesome things that'll let you specify exactly what colors & pictures you'd like, so anyone can write their own theme. aubrey wrote some really cool black theme that i'm using right now. |

thank you for your reply. i have tried to edit this properties. /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.3.1/Home/lib/swing.properties but swing is not replaced. so if you know that, where point of java source code should be changed? from limewire_latest.zip |

i ran back through the code to check... turns out that OSX does it differently. it's under /com/limegroup/gnutella/gui/ResourceManager.java, in the constructor. it uses the call UIManager.getSystemLookAndFeelClassName() and uses that to set the look & feel. all other system use LimeLookAndFeel (also under /.../gui). |
