![]() i wonder if someone could please walk me thru the process of taking my downloaded mps's off of my hard drive and burning them to a cd. can i use the imac's disk drive to do it directly? do i have to get any software in addition to limewire, or attach anything to the imac? do the songs have to go to itunes first and than to a cd? if so, how do you get the music from the harddrive into itunes and than from itunes onto the cd? thank you very much, carolyn k. |

![]() Couldn't be easier! Just create a playlist in iTunes (using the "+" button at the bottom left of the main window) and drag the songs you want on the CD into the playlist. While viewing the playlist, you can also drag them around to reorder them if you like. Remember that a standard audio CD stores only 74 or 80 minutes of music, depending on the blanks you use. When you're ready to go, hit the "Burn CD" button at the top right. iTunes will ask you to insert a blank CD if you haven't already done so, and hit "burn CD" again to start. ![]() I'm having the same problem and tried to follow the simple directions given. I for one, cannot drag any songs from my limewire playlist to the Itunes new folder I created, then was planning to burn to CD. The limewire will not let me do anything with the mps but play them. In trying to create playlists the "SAVE" feature is not available to me. I've tried and tried and tried to figure this out! Jan. 2, 2003 I just figured it out. It is simple! My mistake was I was trying to work directly from the open LimeWire application. I just did a find for my "Shared" folder in the Library. Opened the folder and there were my mp3s I downloaded. I created a folder in Itunes and dragged these mps in Itunes. Now I can burn to CD! Solved with a bit of help from reading from this forum. Thanks ![]() Last edited by S.
