How's Acquisition While We're Waiting for a Fix?
 

Just wondering if anyone has good things to say about Acquisition? I figured while we're waiting for the developers to come back from holiday and fix the evil 2.8.5, it may provide a decent alternative.

Pros and cons, please?

I downloaded version .671 of Acquisition.
Version .67 used that weird 97kb method that LimeWire's using also, but .671 performs normal uploads and downloads, based on the size of the file.
Although I prefer the features and interface of LimeWire, this program performs much better, is very stable, and doesn't degrade the system performance anywhere near as much as LimeWire.

I'll use it until LimeWire comes back and gives us a stable release.
