Angry Limewire giving problems to my connection...

Hi,

I have a i-book 600 with osX.1.5 and I'm using limewire 3.3.0. My internet connection is an ADSL.
This is my problem:
I can start limewire, search mp3 or other stuff. Then I download. In the beginning is everything ok. after a few minutes (like 1 mn....), my connection is not working anymore. I'm still connected in fact but my pop connection isn't working. The green button in limewire is red and no possibility to connect again.
I have to disconnect "internet connect" and connect it back to be able to surf the internet again and get my mail. I can download again for like 1mn and the problem comes again.
Can you help me????
