Number of files shared jumped drastically?
 

Two days ago I was sharing 30ish files. Yesterday I started sharing 500ish files. I did not change any preferences; in fact, I cleaned all the junk out of my shared folder.

Is this something to be concerened about(security)?

What might have caused this change considering there are still less that 40 files in my shared folder?

does your shared folder have subdirectories with files? -- all subdirectories are automatically shared.

click the library tab and see take a look at what's listed.. anything that is listed there (and is black, not red) is shared.

Thanks, all the incomplete files in the library were the source of the large number.

your incomplete files shouldn't be shared ... you should change your incomplete directory so that it's not a subdirectory of your shared folder. i'm fairly certain you can do that through the options screen somewhere. otherwise, people can recieve incomplete/corrupt files from you.
