I downloaded and installed the latest version of Limewire for Mac OS X and I can't get it to run. when I click on the icon in the dock it starts loading, the splash screen comes up and then the entire computer locks up. I have to force a reboot to get it to respond (by holding the off button). I tried downloading again and the same things happened with the second install.

Is there a way to download and go back to the prior version?

And here it starts. Save yourself the trouble. LimeWire has gotten so many bugs now, it is only a matter of time. If you do manage to get it running, it will only quit in about 2 or 3 hours anyway. Go to www.xlife.org and get Acquisition. I use it all the time now that LimeWire sucks so much.You should not have to work so hard to get your software to run right. Acquisition just works great. I have never had a problem of any kind with it. Good Luck...
