limewire slow
 

we i start limewire everything on my computer get slow including limewire. When i type in the search box it takes a while for it to show up... I can't even use limewire now. what do i do?

Hmmm--if everything slows down and you are on OSX 10.2, perhaps it's a general OSX problem that might be easily fixed by repairing "permissions"?

Try restarting in "safe boot" mode (explained here http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107392), and then using Disk Utility to repair permissions.

I have the same problem!!! I'm running OSX (10.2.4), and Limewire slows down the entire system drastically! I can't wait to look into getting this fixed.

It's about Acquisition, which also uses the Limewire core.
