Preferences not saving

Each time I open Limewire, I need to re-complete the start-up process (choosing connection speed, sharing folder, etc.) and reset my preferences. I'm running Mac OS 10.1.5 and Limewire Pro 2.7.3.

Yes, I know I should upgrade both my OS and LW, but I can't afford it yet.

Any help for this poor user is much appreciated.

Upgrade to LimeWire 2.9.8, it'll fix your problem.
