currupt files

Have latest version MacOS 10.2.4 and jusyt downloaded Limewire 2.9.7 . In previous version I would get a message stating "currupt file" 50% of the time upon completion of a download. On this latest version I get the "currupt file" message 99% of the time. Upon last try a window appeared when exiting the program stating there was a bug and it displayed a "technical report" that it asked me to copy and send to limewire however it would not copy when I clicked on the copy button. This "tech info bug" window has not appeared since. I still can't download anything. I've tryed deinstalling and reinstalling but the problem persists. The older version was worth keeping__ at least it worked 50% of the time for me. I have high speed cable and as far as I know everything is the latest but I'm totally new to computers so............ Help!! Please!
