![]() I originally installed Limewire several weeks ago (a down-level version from 2.9.8), with MacOS X v 10.2.3. It worked as advertised. Maybe it's a coincidence (?), but since upgrading to OS X v 10.2.5, the column headers no longer appear in the Search tab. It appears that searches are happening - we just can't see anything about them or download them. Any help is appreciated. |

![]() Hi If features of the earlier version of LW are now missing or you are experiencing instability in the window images in any of the displays, you need to strip out and trash all the old elements of LW (not just use uninstall) and install a newly downloaded version of LW. I had similar problem which this cured If that doesn't work, come back and ask for more help. Last edited by David91; April 23rd, 2003 at 12:24 PM. |

![]() Glad I could help even if only indirectly. For future reference, if the first root and branch extermination of everything with Limew in its label fails to work (and you are not going to be saved by the accident of an upgrade being available), uninstall and exterminate but then try restarting your machine in Safe Boot mode (ie hold down the Shift key while restarting to allow First Aid to operate, then immediate restart again). Now download and reinstall Limewire. More often than not, that does the trick whichever version of Limewire you install. |
