Red face Help!

I'm just stupid ok... Somehow I've managed to delete the Shared folder from my Library at Limewire, although the folder is still at my HD doing it's job. I just can't share any files with anyone else since it's not in my Library anymore. I have no desire to be a socalled freeloader or whatever it's called so.. help! I don't know what I did and I can't figure out how to get it fixed again.

Default More info on the problem

I've tried Preferences --> Saving ---> Browse, then chosen the folder, hitting Apply then OK but it didn't help. I still can't see the folder in my Library.

Please help.

Default Saving

Hi

I assume that you have inadvertently deleted the "Shared" file from the Preference Option Saving page. Instead of using browse, use the default button. If, for some reason you have not been using the default setting (which should look like /Users/your user name/Shared), use Finder to identify the actual location of the Shared file and then input that location into the box in the Options Saving page. That should solve your problem.

Default Sharing...

Your shared folder never was @ LimeWire. You could be right that it is still on your computer hard drive, (it always was) but if you are not sharing, just saving to it, then it's not doing it's job (it is only holding your saved files) or you would not have posted. You were close though. Start with opening LimeWire again then Preferences ---> Sharing. You can Save to anyplace on your hard drive and Share any folder on your hard drive and they do not have to be the same.

Default Thanks..

to the both of you! Next time I'll look closer at all the options everywhere, not just be blind (and stupid). I got it sorted out now though, thank you! The problem was not with the saving, I had the users/myusername/shared all correct, the Saving-options were ok, but not the Sharing-thing.
Thanks!

Have a great day.
