well, LW Pro is just as the free version except in the windows version where they removed the spyware.

go to http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/supportpro, type in the email address you used when you paid, and you'll be given a pro downloads page. When installed, check the "about LW" (mac), to see the version. If pro looks like the regular, it's because they are very similar with no difference in function. I still think of "donating" to the DEVELOPMENT of the LW project, rather than "purchasing" a product.
