Alphax is flying high
Thumbs down Poor performace after 2 minutes runtime.

Lately, the most common behavior to happen when I launch LimeWire is that 4 or 5 items I'd searched for before start downloading at a decent speed for about two minutes. After that, about 2/3rds of them stop completely, and the rest slow to 1 or 2k/second. After that happens, no newly requested item EVER starts or queues, or anything. Meanwhile, I'm only getting a couple of uploaders at low speed, compared to the 6 + a dozen in the queue that used to be the norm. I'm wondering if there's some sort of overhead building up that inhibits transfers. I'm on DSL, with 140K/sec download connection, and I allow 11K/sec uploads.(allowing the full upload channel to be used on DSL cripples downloads speeds) I'm also sharing just over 950 files. Any ideas what's going on, and how I can clear up this mess and get more than 2 minutes of transfers?
