Hmm... First upgrade, and see if the problem goes away. It's very suspicious that you're getting this from different IPs. How different are they? As in, if someone were a hacker with an IP generator or emulator, it would be difficult or impossible for them to emulate radically different IPs. So perhaps one would 0.0.0.0 and the next one would be 0.0.0.1. If they're radically different, I would suspect it's a virus. However, if it's a virus that is someone making these people contact you, or emulating these people contacting you, I don't know what to say except to run any virus software you have. But also, I should add, has anyone EVER seen a virus designed specifically for Limewire? |
it's not a virus -- it's just the authentication features that were built into pre 2.8.6 clients. the newest version (3.0.2) fixes it and includes lots of improvements .. so i'd highly recommend it. |
