limewire will not let me click on a file to download it
 
everything is fine for the first minute or so, then limewire wont let me click on a file or basically use my mouse at all. just started happening out of nowhere

Sounds like you ran out of RAM perhaps. What kind of system are you running?

running 10.2.6 with 512 MB of memory

Does this mouse problem happen in any other program?

Do you have any unusual software installed?

no, this is the only program which is affected. i do not have any weird or funky beta type programs running.
