change file download for cd burning?

Is it only possible to download in MP3 file? I cant seem to play burned CD
in MP3 format. Any way to change file format for normal CD player?

Use iTunes to burn your songs. Under preferences->burning choose audio cd instead of mp3 cd. Now iTunes will automatically convert the songs to cda format while burning
