Question Burning CDs

Help! I'm new to all this CD burning! I have iTunes, but they don't offer a large selection of music. That's why I subscribed to Limewire. However, could you please explain to me how to burn CDs with the MP3s that I'm downloading. Is it possible? Thanks!

What you need to do is got to preferences->sharing in LW and check which folder is your 'shared' folder. Navigate to that folder and put all the music that you want in your iTunes library inside a new folder.

Now open iTunes and select file->add to library. choose the folder with all your mp3's Under preferences->burning and choose audio cd instead of mp3 cd. iTunes will automatically convert the songs to cda format while burning. That way songs will be playable on a cd player. If you want mp3 cd's, then simply select that instead

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask

Default burning cds

i have tried that - and tried dragging and dropping the mp3 files from the shared folder and the desktop - and itunes just doesn't show anything in its library, completely ignored everything. Do you have any idea why that might be?

I helped another person on this forum that had the same problem in this thread As you can see, her problem was with iTunes, and apple ended up helping her.
