![]() I've had chats, but not often. I think many leave LW running unattended. There are also other reasons chat won't work when both are willing--I wondered once if chat depends on an open upload slot or something, or depending on a push if one of us was firewalled. Too, the main window can hide the chat box, so you need to drag one or the other so both are visible. |

![]() So when you type into the text box at the bottom of the chat window, the button to send remains greyed out? Odd. If someone managed to make a chat box show up on your system, they managed to make a connection to your computer. just curious here--satellite sounds interesting--how do you keep your gnutella port open? Your uploads go through a land line, right? cheers |
