Having never used Limewire before I was dissapointed to find that I could not get it to work on my G4 466 at all. Sometimes it would load but as soon as you attempted to do a search it crashed. Interestingly 2.5.6 on my X of the Best (Aladdin) seems to work fine. |

lime and os x and other issues Howdie well lime does work in os x as I have been using it for some time now. lime seems to be a bit more buggy now since I have been updating it regularly. perhaps the new additions of "find new sources" has something to do woth the bugs? as the older versions didnt have this option. the software may be sending out recurring searches as its also trying to download stuff. effectively or not, trying to go both ways on the band width with 2 kinds of interpretive communicae. anyways nuff said....its a free program!!!! why the fuss! free trial software music pics movies what more coould you ask for?! I can understand the pro (paid side of things, a little frustrating), but these computers are very individual even though they make the same comps with the same specs, each one can flip flop at any time- thats Life! bon appetite! |
