Confirmed the same symptom
 

I can confirm exactly the same symptoms on OS X 10.2.5, both from the published English version as well as the one built from the CVS sources ( mentioned above ).

The Java bytecode verifier is not happy about a method arg's type. Must be mismatched jars being bundled together in this dist.

Error:

java.lang.VerifyError: (class: com/limegroup/gnutella/xml/LimeXMLDocument, method: initialize signature: (Lorg/xml/sax/InputSource;)V) Incompatible object argument for function call

You're able to download the source from CVS, compile it, and then you're saying it doesn't run (due to the VerifyError)?
