I've never seen that particular error before. Which version of LimeWire did you download? After you downloaded, was the install process like the normal OSX installer (asking you to type in your password, etc..) or was there directions to "drag the LimeWire folder to your hard disk"?

Could you please locate the LimeWire application (if it's on your desktop or dock, control-click on that link, and choose 'Show In Finder'. Then choose the LimeWire icon, control-click on it, and choose "Show Package Contents". Open up the 'Contents' folder. There should be a file called "Info.plist" there -- could you please email that file to sberlin@limepeer.com ?

For now, the best thing I can say to do is to redownload the program from the website. I'm not sure what caused your error. Please email that file before reinstalling LimeWire, though.
