LimeWire 3.6.8 is live. This release should fix any problems users using MacOS 10.1 were having with launching LimeWire. Please let us know if there are further problems.

Thanks,

I downloaded LimeWire 3.6.8 and ran the installer but when I had to choose the drive to install to it said You cannot install this software on this volume (null). I am running Mac OS 10.3 I have DSL 640 MB Ram 3.8GB available on my drive and I am system administrator. I tried installing from root and another administrator account but that didn't work.

PS: CNET hasn't updated the version information

Unhappy Where can I download 3.6.8?

Glad to hear the new version fixes the 10.1 problems but where do I go to download it. I tried the download button for mac OS but it kicks me to a site that say its 3.6.6?

Download.com is a little slow in updating their version numbers. You can always trust the numbers on the LimeWire site, as download.com is really just a front-end for the files we host. They provide a good means of counting how many people download it.

Did you do a clean install of 10.3, or upgrade from 10.2, Hbridewell? You chose one of the volumes (such as Macintosh HD) that was listed?

Thanks,

Hbridewell, try to repare permissions of your HD with disk utility found in the utilities folder in the application folder. Also you may want to reinstall panther with the option archive and install instead of upgrade, it keeps your documents while having much less problems than an upgrade install.

Bonne chance
